Saber Building Services is excited to welcome a dependable Day Porter / Custodian to our team at a private educational campus near the Kensington Road corridor in Bloomfield Hills. This is a visible, hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active and takes pride in helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout the day.

Because the campus is occupied during the shift, the Day Porter / Custodian will respond to cleaning needs as they arise while completing routine custodial duties throughout assigned areas. We are looking for someone who is attentive, professional, and comfortable working around students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, common areas, entrances, and other assigned spaces
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform routine custodial cleaning
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors throughout assigned areas
• Respond promptly to spills and other immediate cleaning needs
• Monitor high-traffic areas and report facility concerns to management

Requirements

• Ability to work comfortably in an active educational environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform routine physical custodial tasks

Pay: $16 - $18 per hour
