Overview

Janitorial Area Managers are those employees who are responsible for supervising the cleaning of all areas of assigned building(s). These areas include offices, conference rooms, corridors, lobbies, classrooms, warehouse spaces and other public areas such as break rooms and restrooms. Project work, especially floor maintenance, may be included in the duties of these employees if these duties are assigned. Other assigned duties may be assigned by Supervisor.

Job Skills / Requirements

As an SMFM Area Manager, you will be assigned building(s) and employees to supervise. At any time that sufficient employees are not present to perform work, you will be required to accomplish any tasks the absent worker may have been assigned to accomplish. However, the needs of the company may also dictate that you perform other tasks. These are the principal ongoing responsibilities that are necessary to accomplish the purpose of the job. The tasks may vary depending on the assigned building(s).
