* Perform cleaning tasks including: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, detailing, dusting, dewebbing, and other general cleaning tasks as needed/assigned in common areas (lobbies, restrooms, stairs, etc) and tenant offices
* Empty trash and recycling and remove to dumpsters
* Restock restrooms and breakrooms
* Have a detailed eye to identify and address spots-spills-dust-grime using Spencer-approved methods, and be able to critique and communicate needed corrections to an employee in a professional manner
* Assist in training new employees to a site, including recognizing and removing inefficiencies to improve productivity
* Communicate daily with Supervisor regarding information or requests to manage the building at the highest level possible
* Maintain a clean and well-organized custodial closet
* Order supplies and communicate any problems with delivery
* Safely use and manage company-issued equipment and chemicals, and attend scheduled safety meetings
* Understand SDS, chemical usage on the job, and the importance for their personal safety
* Remind coworkers to follow safety protocols, and report to Supervisor any non-compliant employees
* Have working knowledge of all positions in the facility they oversee including scope and crew scheduling
* Comply with CA law regarding required rest breaks and meal periods, and demonstrate proper and accurate timecard documentation
* Report any items needing repair (eg burnt out lightbulbs, non-functioning dispensers)
* Speak and understand English
* Take direction from Supervisor for such matters as cleaning techniques, production efficiencies, constructive criticism, complaint resolution, etc
* Employee's capabilities are primarily measured by the flawless execution of tasks scheduled by the Supervisor. Flawless execution takes into account the consistency, speed, quality of work, as well as neat appearance, punctuality, initiative, willingness to learn, and personal accountability.
