Job Skills / Requirements

United Protective Services is seeking professional and dependable Security Officers for a temporary event coverage assignment for three weeks. This position requires strong communication skills, situational awareness, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

This assignment involves providing a visible security presence while assisting with traffic flow, monitoring parking areas, and helping ensure a safe and orderly environment for guests and staff during event operations.

Schedule – June 14^th thru July 4^th

• Monday – 1600-2400
• Tuesday  – 1600-2400
• Wednesday  – 1600-2400
• Additional on-call opportunities available on remaining days

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor parking lots and surrounding areas for suspicious activity or criminal behavior
• Assist with monitoring Uber/Lyft activity and traffic concerns
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Communicate effectively with fellow event coverage officers and the regular site officer
• Observe and report incidents, hazards, or unusual activity
• Assist with crowd and vehicle flow as needed
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 25 years of age
• Must possess a current, valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High level of vigilance and situational awareness
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain calm and observant in a dynamic environment
