Security Site Manager
United Protective Services is currently seeking a full-time Security Site Manager to oversee daily security operations at a premier commercial property.
Security Site Manager experience is required.
Only candidates with a minimum of 2 years of security supervisory or management experience will be considered.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly motivated Security Site Manager to serve as the primary on-site management representative responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring operational effectiveness, maintaining strong client relations, and enforcing all site security procedures and company standards.
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership abilities, sound decision-making skills, excellent communication, professionalism, and prior experience managing security operations in a commercial or corporate environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily security operations and assigned security personnel
- Ensure all officers comply with company policies, client directives, and post orders
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, employees, and property assets
- Conduct patrols, inspections, and performance evaluations of security personnel
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and policy violations while ensuring proper documentation is completed
- Review and submit incident reports, payroll, schedules, and administrative paperwork accurately and on time
- Coordinate staffing coverage and manage scheduling for all assigned posts
- Provide coaching, counseling, training, and corrective action when necessary
- Maintain professional relationships with property management, tenants, law enforcement, and emergency responders
- Ensure all security equipment and operational systems are functioning properly
- Respond to emergencies and critical incidents while following proper escalation procedures
- Maintain confidentiality regarding investigations, surveillance systems, and sensitive operational matters
- Conduct employee evaluations and provide effective site-specific training and orientation to assigned personnel
- Prepare, complete, and submit accurate weekly operational reports to the Branch Office within established deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of security supervisory or management experience required
- Valid security license as required by state regulations
- Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and professional incident reports
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Highly personable with strong customer service experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays if operationally necessary
- Experience in commercial high-rise, corporate, or Class A property environments preferred
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office, scheduling platforms, reporting systems, email communication, and security management software systems
- Ability to respond effectively during emergencies and high-pressure situations
- Must maintain company cell phone and email accessibility for operational communication 24 hours a day
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, scheduling systems, and report writing platforms preferred
