Set Schedule (16 Hours Weekly):Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (77037)Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (77037)

Pay Rate: $14.00 – $14.50/hour

We are seeking a professional and dependable Part-Time Security Officer to provide weekend coverage at a retail storefront location. This role requires strong visibility, active patrol, and customer service engagement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable conducting golf cart patrols, interacting with the public, and maintaining a professional presence.

Position Overview

The Security Officer will support daily operations through visible patrol, monitoring of customer activity, and proactive reporting of any security or safety concerns. This position requires reliability, attentiveness, and the ability to work independently in a public-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular golf cart patrols of the property
• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, loitering, and disturbances
• Monitor customer and vendor activity
• Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues
• Provide professional customer service and assistance when needed
• Respond appropriately to incidents or disturbances
• Document patrols and incidents in reporting software
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of security experience (retail or customer-facing preferred)
• Golf cart patrol experience REQUIRED
• Active Level II or Level III license (as required by state law)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must reside within 20 minutes of ZIP code 77037
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills
• Comfortable working in a public, high-traffic environment
• Reliable and able to consistently work weekends
