Now Hiring – Full-Time Security Officer (High-Profile Commercial Properties)

Set Schedule (32 Hours Weekly):

• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (77037)
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (77037)
• Tuesday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (77002)
• Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (77002)

We are seeking a professional and dependable Full-Time Security Officer to provide dedicated coverage across two high-profile luxury retail and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have proven experience operating a golf cart for patrols, strong customer service skills, and the level of professionalism required to represent both the client and United Protective Services. This position offers a consistent weekly schedule with opportunities for growth within our portfolio of properties.

Position Overview

The Security Officer will support daily operations through visible patrol presence, proactive observation, customer service engagement, and thorough documentation. Each site requires extensive golf cart patrol. The ideal candidate is adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a polished, professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct golf cart patrols of the property
• Maintain access control and monitor building activity
• Identify and report maintenance issues or security concerns
• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or emergencies
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in company reporting software
• Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance at all times
• Uphold company and client policies, procedures, and expectations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional security experience (commercial, industrial, or high-rise preferred)
• Golf cart patrol experience REQUIRED
• Active Level II or Level III license (as required by state law)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must live within 20 miles of both locations:
• • 77037 (Sat/Sun site)
  • 77002 (Tue/Wed site)
• Strong communication, customer service, and situational awareness skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Ability to work the full set schedule consistently each week

Pay & Performance

Compensation is based on experience, professionalism, and performance. Officers who demonstrate reliability, strong work ethic, and high service standards may be considered for additional assignments or advancement opportunities.
