About the Role
United Protective Services is seeking a dependable and adaptable Flex Security Officer, also known as a Floater, to support our branch operations across multiple client locations. This role is essential in maintaining consistent coverage, service excellence, and safety standards across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional, courteous, and safety-focused presence at assigned client sites.
- Respond promptly to scheduling calls and fill open shifts as directed by management.
- Patrol premises, monitor access, and report safety or security concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including activity and incident reports.
- Enforce company and client policies to ensure safe, secure environments.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.
- Demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and initiative across varying site conditions.
Schedule & Requirements
- Must be available 24/7, six (6) days per week, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (mandatory workdays).
- Required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Non-Commissioned (Level II) Security License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
- Excellent communication and observation skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Must demonstrate strong dependability, responsiveness, and professionalism.
- Previous security experience preferred, but not required.
