Hours: Varies
Payrate: $19.00/hour 

Overtime Method: Employee Standards Act (ESA)

Duties:

• Responsible for the safety and security of the tenants, guests and complex.
• Performing duties as required following guidelines set out in the Post Orders, by the client. 
• Performing patrols of both the retail and office towers.
• Ensuring completion of all shift paperwork.
• Patrolling of building and attached parking garage.
• Maintaining site computer.
• Completing all other assigned tasks.
• Monitoring CCTV and engaging with tenants.

Recommended Knowledge/Skills:

• Strong sense of integrity and professionalism
• Candidate must have completed Secondary School – Grade 12 or equivalent
• Candidate must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Experience with computers at an intermediate level; programs include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Understands the importance of providing timely superior client services within the guidelines set out by the Post Orders
• Be able to work alone
• Be able to perform extensive patrolling
• Previous retail security experience considered an asset. 

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Must be fluent in English, both written and oral
• Must have a valid First Aid & CPR - Level C certification (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• Legally Authorized to work in Canada
• Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
• Moderate physical activity including standing and/or walking
• Management of Aggressive Behaviour and Use of Force Certification 
  Paladin Security is willing to offer this certification on a commitment contract (minimum of six (6) months) for new hires upon Onboarding
