SITE DESCRIPTON: Project Nujio’qonik is Canada’s first commercial green hydrogen/ammonia producer. This is produced from 3+ Gigawatts of renewable electricity by harnessing the power of one of the best wind resources in the region being St. George’s Bay. This 3+ Gigawatt wind farm is expected to deliver 250,000 tons of hydrogen per year through 3 different phases of development.

 

TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

· Log and report all incidents which occur for Project Nujio’qonik

· Prevention of opportunities for theft, assault, illegal or unauthorized entry; in a composed manner direct individuals initiating disruption or trespass to leave the premises

· While on patrol, monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical issues, hazardous material and additional breaches of security

· 2-way radio use and professionalism

· Use of a company vehicle to patrol various sites in all weather conditions

· Ability to patrol the designated site via electronic guard tour system in all weather conditions

· Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.

· Monitoring situations, cameras, property and events

· Communicate in a truthful and receptive manner under all circumstances as well as provide information regarding the facility as requested by authorized personnel

· Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders, co-workers and members of World Energy through courteous and respectful relations.

· Monitor, screen and verify the identity of individuals in a professional manner to grant entry into your designated site though means of documentation reference and tracking

· Serve as a primary point of contact to receive and unload deliveries

· Turning lights ON and OFF

· Turning alarm systems ON and OFF

· Enforcement of “No Smoking’ ordinance

· Controlling traffic and personnel entry and departure from the worksite

· Completion of a daily field activity report summarizing the significant events that occurred during that shift

 
$21.00/hour
