Site Description: Halifax Stanfield is Atlantic Canada’s principal full-service airport providing passengers and cargo clients with direct access to markets across Canada, the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean Basin, Europe, and Asia. Halifax Stanfield offers Canada Customs services on a 24-hour, seven day a week basis, and it’s the only airport in Atlantic Canada with U.S. preclearance and International to Domestic processing facilities. The Airport is a major economic generator, contributing $3.8 billion annually to the provincial economy pre-pandemic. In 2020, Halifax Stanfield served 995,000 passengers and processed nearly 33,000 metric tonnes of cargo.
Job Description: Paladin Security is currently recruiting for various positions within the Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Positions Require:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, including working under pressure.
- Discretion when handling confidential and private information.
- Ability to pass a security clearance and hold a RAIC
- Ability to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.
- Flexible availability including weekends and overnight shifts, schedule of 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00
- Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high school diploma.
- Must have reliable transportation to the airport.
- Must have a valid Driver's License with min 3 years of driving experience.
- Must have valid First Aid & CPR certificate (Online First Aid/CPR certificate not accepted)

Additional Information / Benefits
Pay Classification:
AVSEC training would be paid at $15.00
On-job training would be paid at $16.55
Pay rates once approved to full duties paid at $21.43
