Starting salary: $39,858.00 - $48,984.00 annually. Will ensure that children's nutritional needs are provided for according to the Head Start Performance Standards and federal, state, and local regulations. Will develop menus and recipes that meet all applicable regulations and ensure a consistent quality of meals is maintained within the child nutrition program. Will supervise food service personnel, and ensure kitchens are operated efficiently by skilled staff. Will compile, maintain, and submit documentation that complies with all federal, state, and local regulations. Must possess and maintain the necessary skill level in technology systems and software required to perform job duties.
An Associate degree is required. An Associate degree in food service sciences or a related field and at least two years of institutional health care/childcare food service experience or a Bachelor's degree in management, food services, or a related field is preferred.
