Job Skills / Requirements
Starting wages: $15.10 hourly. Will educate and inform individuals of health insurance options and insurance affordability programs through Kentucky's Health Benefit Exchange. Will assist with enrolling qualified individuals/families in health insurance plans through Kynect Benefits and/or Kynect Health Coverage. Will conduct public education activities and community outreach to raise awareness of health plan availability and eligibility. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and public speaking skills are necessary. Must have reliable transportation and vehicle insurance coverage. Will be required to pass a criminal background check. Working 40 hours per week. This project is funded, in part, under a contract with Community Action of Kentucky with funds from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
An Associate degree or one year of related experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree with public speaking experience is preferred. Must obtain and maintain required certification and successfully complete required training.
