Overview

The role of the Associate Client Engagement Manager is to support the Client Engagement Manager(s) on account(s) ensuring the productivity and quality of work while supporting the overall day-to-day needs of the account(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Include, but are not limited to the following:
Supports CEM team with daily client activities and needs:
Account coordination and logistics:
Keeps team members informed about account/project status, owns status documentation and supports internal meetings
Manages team travel and assists with team members’ schedules
Has keen organization skills – knows immediately where to find files, photos, decks, etc. and is the go-to person when the team needs anything
Scheduling and planning:
Books conference rooms and meetings – internally and externally
Schedules and attends meetings, maintaining thorough and accurate notes and sends timely recaps to the CEM for approval and to the external team, if requested
Assists in follow-ups on any action items from the meeting
Overall budget, project tracking and invoicing:
Gains an understanding of the project billing process by assisting PM/CEM in billing final projects to clients
Works to understand the impact of billing decisions on the Agency’s bottom line
Works to establish a trusting, supporting relationship with internal teams, clients and vendors
Proactively learns basic client management techniques, including how to document client feedback, ask the right questions, recognize when to push back, etc.
Assists in research needed to provide competitive analyses and POVs in order to build stronger relationships with clients
Takes responsibility for quality control, including monitoring and ensuring that all client deliverables meet/exceed expectations, proofreading, and reviewing and double-checking all work prior to submitting to the CEM
Simultaneously manages multiple projects with overlapping deadlines and exhibits strong time-management skills with an attention to detail
Works to attain good working knowledge of media (especially print and digital media)
Is motivated by achieving results, and is adept at working on/with a variety of teams and clients
Displays competency in writing internal and external emails (i.e., proper grammar, usage, etc.)
Completes timesheets daily
Never assumes, always asks for clarification or approval
Assists Client Engagement Managers with other duties, no matter how small or large
