Job Skills / Requirements

Put your patrol experience and driving skills to work helping protect City of San Diego properties. Allstate Security is hiring a dependable Vehicle Patrol Driver for a part-time weekend overnight assignment. This role offers independent field work, a defined weekend schedule, and $22.85 per hour.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $22.85 per hour.
• Part-time, weekend graveyard shifts.
• Saturday 8:00 PM–Sunday 7:00 AM.
• Sunday 8:00 PM–Monday 5:30 AM.
• Location: assigned City of San Diego properties, with regular travel between patrol locations.
• Reports to Cesar Nunez.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols and hourly checks at assigned locations.
• Lock and unlock gates, restrooms, and buildings as directed.
• Inspect properties and report incidents, safety hazards, and suspicious activity.
• Respond professionally to unauthorized presence and trespassing concerns in accordance with company procedures.
• Work independently, stay on the assigned route, and maintain a dependable, professional presence.

Requirements

• Current BSIS Guard Card and valid driver’s license.
• At least 25 years old, per the company insurance requirement stated for this driving assignment.
• Clean driving record with no DUIs or moving violations within the past five years.
• Submit a current DMV driving record.
• 2–3 years of prior vehicle patrol experience preferred, not required. Candidates with less experience who meet the other requirements are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently and remain on route.
• English reading and writing proficiency.
• Comfort using a smartphone and basic applications.
• Responsible, dependable, and professional work ethic.
• Availability for both listed weekend overnight shifts.
