Security Officer – Night Shift

MSC Security is currently seeking a professional and dependable Security Officer to join our team for an overnight foot patrol position in Atlanta, Georgia.

Position Details

• Shift: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
• Assignment Type: Truck Gate

Requirements

At MSC Security, we are committed to providing our clients with highly qualified security professionals dedicated to protecting their assets, property, and personnel. To ensure exceptional service and employee success, all applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation (public transportation will not be considered)
• Must possess a working cell phone for communication with Operations Supervisors
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
• Must possess an active 24-Hour Security Guard Training Certification
• Must be able to perform duties outlined in post orders, including prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting
• Must be familiar with mobile technology, including tablets and smartphones
• Must possess a valid driver's license

Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a daily activity log during assigned shifts
• Completing accurate and detailed incident reports
• Conducting routine foot patrols throughout the assigned property
• Enforcing client policies and procedures in a professional and courteous manner
• Reporting to duty on time and in proper uniform
• Interacting professionally with tenants, visitors, clients, and the general public
• Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills
• Practicing active listening and maintaining situational awareness
• Assessing emergencies and responding appropriately
• Identifying and reporting critical issues promptly and accurately
