MSC SECURITY, LLC, IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR FULLY CREDENTIALED ON CALL QC OFFICERS FOR OUR HYATTSVILLE, MD OFFICE. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION:

~ FULL DRIVERS LICENSE--NO PROVISIONAL

~ A MD STATE POLICE GUARD CARD--ACTIVE AND/OR

~ A DCJS SECURITY LICENSE FOR VIRGINIA

~ A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS SECURITY EXPERIENCE

~ YOUR OWN VEHICLE

~ OPEN AVAILABILITY--INCLUDING WEEKENDS

SCHEDULES:

1400 - 2200 MONDAY - SUNDAY

1600 - 0000 MONDAY - SUNDAY

PART TIME POSITIONS:

~ HOURS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

~ OPEN AVAIILABILITY IS PREFERRED FOR WEEKNDS

1400 - 2200 SATURDAY - SUNDAY

1600 - 0000 SATURDAY - SUNDAY

REQUIREMENTS:

At MSC Security, LLC, we are committed to providing our clients with the most qualified candidates to safeguard their assets, property, and personnel. We have established a set of criteria that our security officers must meet to ensure optimal service delivery and to enhance their chances of success during their tenure with us. The criteria include:

• ACTIVE MARYLAND STATE POLICE GUARD CARD
• DRIVERS LICENSE
• ON CALL AVAILABILITY FOR 1500 -2300  
• WEEKDAY AND WEEKEND SHIFTS
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
• Legal work status in the US
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors
• Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
• Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting
• Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)

DUTIES/WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Maintain a daily log of all activities during your assigned shift at your assigned post
• Document all incidents occurring during your assigned shift in a detailed incident report
• Conduct walking/vehicular patrols throughout your shift
• Enforce customer rules in a professional and courteous manner
• Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post
• Ability to interact and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Active listening skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively
• Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical issues and respond appropriately
