We have developed a set of qualifications that we expect all Security Officers to meet in order to serve our clients effectively and support long-term success in their role.

Applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Have reliable transportation (public transportation will not be considered)
• Possess a working cell phone for communication with Operations Supervisors
• Be able to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
• Be eligible to obtain a Maryland (MD) Guard Card
• Be able to perform duties outlined in post orders, which may include extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting
• Be comfortable using mobile technology, including tablets and smartphones
• Possess a valid full driver's license

Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking dependable, professional individuals who can:

• Maintain a daily activity log for each assigned shift and post
• Accurately document incidents in detailed written reports
• Conduct walking and/or vehicular patrols throughout assigned shifts
• Enforce client rules and policies in a professional and courteous manner
• Report to assigned posts on time and in proper uniform
• Communicate effectively with the public, clients, and fellow team members
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
• Practice active listening and professional customer service
• Assess and respond appropriately to emergencies and critical situations
• Identify potential security concerns quickly and take appropriate action
