MSC SECURITY, LLC, IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR FULLY CREDENTIALED QC OFFICERS FOR OUR HYATTSVILLE, MD, OFFICE.

ARMED AND UNARMED OFFICERS MUST BE FULLY CREDENTIALED IN MARYLAND AND/OR VIRGINIA, HAVE THEIR OWN WEAPON AND GEAR.

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION:

~ FULL DRIVERS LICENSE--NO PROVISIONAL

~ A MD STATE POLICE GUARD CARD--ACTIVE AND/OR

~ A DCJS SECURITY LICENSE FOR VIRGINIA

~ A MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS SECURITY EXPERIENCE

~ YOUR OWN VEHICLE

~ OPEN AVAILABILITY--INCLUDING WEEKENDS

SCHEDULES:

1400 - 2200 MONDAY - SUNDAY

1600 - 0000 MONDAY - SUNDAY

REQUIREMENTS:

We have established a set of criteria that our security officers must meet to ensure optimal service delivery and to enhance their chances of success during their tenure with us. The criteria include:

• CURRENT MD STATE POLICE GUARD CARD AND/OR VIRGINIA DCJS SECURITY LICENSE
• ARMED OFFICERS MUST HAVE ACTIVE HANGUN PERMITS, THIER OWN WEAPON AND GEAR
• FULL VALID DRIVERS LICENSE--NO PROVISIONALS
• YOUR OWN VEHICLE
• MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS SECURITY EXPERIENCE
• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
• Legal work status in the US
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Reliable and functional transportation (Public transportation is not acceptable)
• Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors
• Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
• Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting
• Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)

DUTIES/WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Maintain a daily log of all activities during your assigned shift at your assigned post
• Document all incidents occurring during your assigned shift in a detailed incident report
• Conduct walking/vehicular patrols throughout your shift
• Enforce customer rules in a professional and courteous manner
• Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post
• Ability to interact and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Active listening skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively
• Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical issues and respond appropriately
