Security Officer (Unarmed)

Job Summary

MSC Security is seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused Security Officers to join our growing team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting patrols, monitoring assigned properties, enforcing site policies, and responding to incidents as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, observant, and committed to providing exceptional service while protecting people, property, and assets.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Active Maryland 24-Hour Security Guard Certification required
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required
• Working cell phone required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, tablets, and mobile reporting systems

Responsibilities

• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols
• Monitor and secure assigned locations
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs
• Complete detailed incident reports
• Enforce site policies and procedures
• Respond to emergencies and security concerns as needed
• Provide professional customer service and public interaction
• Report to duty on time and in proper uniform
