Custodian – Port Huron 12 Hrs. Weekly Average

Are you looking for a great place to Work? As an employee at Romanow Building Services, you will enjoy a positive and stress-free environment. Our company is currently accepting applications for a full-time janitorial position in Port Huron.

Positions start at $14/hour. We need reliable, dependable, and detail-orientated workers. Workers will perform various cleaning duties and maintenance tasks for our customers. Individuals must be physically capable of bending, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing/pulling, lifting, etc.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• Excellent attendance & reliable transportation
• Pass a background check and reference checking
• Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
• Strong communication skills
• Be positive and enthusiastic
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain a healthy and clean environment using approved methods, chemicals & tools.
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash
• Operate floor equipment such as auto floor scrubbers and vacuums
• General cleaning of floors, furniture, windows, windowsills, and walls
• Stocking and cleaning of restrooms, break rooms & janitor closets
• Changing light bulbs
• General snow removal from entrances as needed
• Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
