We are hiring Licensed Security Officers

ADDRESS:UNITED SECURITY - CORPORATE OFFICE

• Parking Available (Please park in lot across the street)
• $29.33/HOUR
• (Required to work nights and weekends)

Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

• Provide top notch customer service
• Direct guest to appropriate area
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and access points.
• Investigates & reports security breaches, incidents, and other alarming or suspicious activity to the shift supervisor.
• Enforces all rules and regulations required to ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct crowd management to ensure orderly ingress and egress.
• Provide assistance and support to guests as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with other security team members and event staff.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
• Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Traffic control - Maintaining safe and organize flow of vehicles throughout the property

SCHEDULE:

• Schedules are based on scheduled events- first come first served.
• Weekend availability is a must
• Shifts are on a first come first served basis

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 1+ years security experience required.
• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Standing for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions required.
• Shift durations are generally FOUR hours, with occasional longer shifts depending on event.
• Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Successful candidates must be reliable, punctual, and committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Active CT Security License for security roles
• Event Security Experience Highly Preferred
