Full-Time Campus Security Officers needed. 

Position will be assigned to Palmer College of Chiropractic. Hiring one 2nd shift position with Wed/Thurs off, and one 3rd shift position with days off TBD. Both full-time, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a valid driver's license, with a driving record that meets company policy.
  • Be qualified to obtain a security license for the State of Iowa. No disqualifying criminal convictions, to include any felony or aggravated misdemeanors, serious misdemeanors of an assaultive nature, or thefts.
  • Ability to handle physical nature of the position. Must be able to walk long distances, and be outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitor campus property to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. Warn violators of campus policies & regulations
  • Perform rounds examining doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
  • Answer calls for service from faculty, staff, and students.
  • Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
