Job Skills / Requirements
Per Mar Security Services is seeking a security officer at our West Branch, Iowa location. This is an overnight position 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Thurs/Fri/Sat, and 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm Sunday. Initial training is scheduled Tues-Fri 8:00 am - 6:00 pm until complete.
Pay: 40 hours per week at $17.00 per hour.
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age and older
- A valid driver's license with a MVR that within company policy.
- Qualify for a State of Iowa security license, with no disqualifying criminal convictions.
- Good customer services skills for daily interactions with both the public and commercial vehicle drivers.
- Able to physically stand for extended periods during high traffic periods.
Job Duties:
- Access control of inbound/outbound commercial vehicles, visitors, and other traffic via computer.
- Monitor facility CCTV's.
- Respond to incidents with the facility.
- Other duties as assigned by site supervisor.
Please note: Upon hire, the candidate will be required to travel to attend a 1 day orientation/training at our Cedar Rapids office.
