Position Summary

Contract Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dependable and hardworking Night Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. The Night Janitor is responsible for performing routine cleaning and custodial duties throughout the assigned facility, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, removing trash, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance or safety concerns.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable performing physically demanding tasks.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Gather and remove trash from designated areas and replace receptacle liners as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum building floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish restroom supplies.
• Maintain clean and orderly common areas and assigned spaces.
• Report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to management promptly.
• Properly use and maintain janitorial equipment, tools, cleaning compounds, and solutions.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform additional cleaning and custodial duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Knowledge of standard janitorial cleaning methods, practices, tools, and equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely operate janitorial equipment and use cleaning chemicals and solutions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Availability to work weekends and/or holidays may be required.
