Job Skills / Requirements

EMT | Security Officer

Location: Latrobe, PA

Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:00pm-10:00pm

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable, safety-conscious Unarmed Security Officers to support security operations at a heavy industrial facility in Latrobe, PA. Safety, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential in this environment. Candidates must be comfortable working walking posts and following established site safety and security procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor facility access and verify authorized personnel and visitors.
• Conduct interior and exterior foot patrols, including designated walking posts.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security incidents.
• Enforce site security procedures and maintain a safe, secure environment.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Respond professionally to emergencies and follow established response procedures.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel, visitors, and management.
• Remain alert and maintain a professional presence throughout each shift.

Requirements

• Previous security experience required; industrial facility experience strongly preferred.
• EMT certification
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Successful Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) clearance is a condition of employment.
• Steel-toe or composite-toe safety boots required.
• Ability to work walking posts and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Dependable, professional, and able to follow instructions and established safety protocols.
• Ability to work all days and shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
