Job Skills / Requirements
Security Officer
Location: Marion, Illinois
Compensation: $17.00
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday Midnight-8:00am
Must be able to remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire shift. Sleeping while on duty is strictly prohibited.
Position Summary
We are seeking qualified, professional, and dependable Security Officers to support operations at a client site in Marion, IL. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong customer service skills, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain a professional presence while effectively utilizing technology as part of daily security operations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Illinois PERC Card
- Completion of a 20-hour security training certificate
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods
- Reliable transportation is required
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
Preferred Experience
- Prior security or protective services experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
