Job Skills / Requirements

 Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Youngstown, OH

Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday / Midnight-8:00 am

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Duties

• Follow post orders, company policies, and site procedures
• Conduct foot or vehicle patrols as assigned.
• Monitor and report security threats, hazards, suspicious activity, and emergencies
• Provide customer service, visitor assistance, loss prevention, and access control
• Write clear and detailed incident reports
• Respond to incidents and notify appropriate supervisors or authorities
• Follow emergency response and use-of-force procedures
• Complete required training and maintain professional conduct and attendance
• Must remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire shift. Sleeping while on duty is strictly prohibited.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state-required security license, registration, or permit
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Professional customer service and conflict-de-escalation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
• Driver’s license and clean driving record may be required for certain assignments
