Job Skills / Requirements

Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Schedule: Monday & Tuesday, 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Pay: $18.50/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional Unarmed Security Officer for a lobby/command center position. This role combines security duties with customer service and access control responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and sign in visitors and contractors
• Issue and manage employee access badges
• Monitor CCTV and retrieve footage as needed
• Control access to parking gates via intercom
• Maintain key control for facility
• Respond to incidents and security concerns
• Write clear and detailed incident and daily activity reports (DARs)
• Enforce site policies, procedures, and post orders
• Communicate with staff and management via email and phone

Additional Duties

• Conduct foot patrols as needed
• Identify and report safety hazards or suspicious activity
• Respond to emergencies in a calm and professional manner
• Provide excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Customer service experience required
• Basic computer proficiency
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Training

Comprehensive site-specific training provided

Education Requirements (All)

HS Diploma
GED or H.S. Equivalent
