Job Skills / Requirements

Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Villanova, PA

Schedule: 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. / Mondays & Thursdays

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at assigned locations in Villanova, PA. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and secure environment through active observation, patrol, and reporting. Officers are expected to enforce site policies, respond to incidents, and represent the company with professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Security Officers are responsible for monitoring premises and conducting foot, vehicular, or other assigned patrols to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, or unsafe conditions. This role includes responding to incidents and emergencies in accordance with post orders and company procedures, while completing accurate and timely incident and daily activity reports. Depending on the assignment, duties may also include access control, lobby or visitor management, and general customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of professional work experience preferred
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required)
• Must possess and maintain any required state licenses or certifications
• Must have own vehicle

Work Environment

This position may involve both indoor and outdoor assignments, with extended periods of standing, walking, or driving depending on the post.
