Luxury Boutique Security Officer

Location: Short Hills, NJ

Position Type: Part-Time and Full-Time

Schedule: All days available – 1st and 2nd shifts

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on store assignment)

Job Description

We are seeking professional and experienced Luxury Boutique Security Officers to provide security coverage for high-end retail boutiques in the Short Hills, NJ mall area. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a strong and professional security presence while delivering exceptional customer service in a luxury retail environment.

This position involves covering multiple boutique stores as needed, ensuring the safety of customers, employees, and merchandise while maintaining the high standards expected in luxury retail settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence within luxury retail boutiques
• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring a safe shopping environment
• Monitor store activity to deter theft and suspicious behavior
• Conduct routine patrols within assigned retail areas
• Communicate with store management and staff regarding security concerns
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
• Enforce store policies and security procedures

Requirements

• Active NJ SORA Guard Card License (Required)
• Prior security experience required
• Luxury retail or boutique security experience preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during long shifts
• Professional appearance and demeanor required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain utmost professionalism in a high-end retail environment
