Job Skills / Requirements

Unarmed Security Officer

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour Schedule: All days available

Job Summary

The Security Officer provides security services at assigned locations with a focus on observing and reporting. Responsibilities include conducting foot, vehicle, golf cart, and/or bicycle patrols; monitoring and reporting suspicious activity; enforcing site rules and post orders; writing detailed reports; and responding to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols
• Monitor premises and report security threats or hazards
• Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Enforce company policies and site procedures
• Provide strong customer service
• Respond to incidents in accordance with company policy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
• Valid state security license/permit required
• Must pass background check and drug screening (if required)
• Valid driver’s license may be required
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Reliable transportation required
