Job Skills / Requirements

Community Patrol Officer (Unarmed)

Location: Tannersville, PA

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Schedule:Shifts may vary; however, typical coverage includes:

• Friday: 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• Saturday: 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Monday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

About the Role

We are hiring a dependable and observant Community Patrol Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and visitors. This position focuses on proactive patrol, visibility, and responsive service within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols throughout the community
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and rule violations
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and disturbances
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Assist residents and visitors with questions or concerns
• Monitor access points and verify identification when needed
• Enforce community policies professionally and consistently
• Operate patrol vehicles safely and perform routine checks
• Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary

Qualifications

• Clean driving record (required)
• Strong observation and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergencies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods

Preferred (not required):

• Security, community patrol, or law enforcement experience
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Security guard license
