Job Skills / Requirements

Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Florence, KY

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 12:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Steel-toed shoes or boots

Position Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring activity, conducting patrols, and reporting any issues or concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the property and report any suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility
• Control access to the site, including checking in visitors and deliveries
• Log inbound and outbound traffic and verify delivery paperwork
• Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Respond to emergencies and notify the appropriate personnel
• Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform routine inspections of the building, grounds, and vehicles
• Provide assistance and direction to employees, visitors, and drivers as needed

Additional Duties

• Monitor activity to prevent unauthorized access
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or unusual behavior
• Complete all required reports before the end of each shift
• Follow all company policies, attendance expectations, and professional standards
• Participate in required training and site orientation

Education Requirements (All)

HS Diploma
GED or H.S. Equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Driver's License
