Job Skills / Requirements

Position: School Communications and Operations Support Specialist  

Location: Rockford School District - Security Emergency Operations Center (SEOC)  

Schedule: 10:00AM-6:00PM  Monday-Friday 

Compensation: $20.00 per hour  

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized School Communications and Operations Support Specialist to join our team. This role is vital to ensuring efficient communication, accurate documentation, and timely coordination of resources in support of day-to-day school operations.  

Required Skills and Qualifications:  

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and spreadsheet tools.
• Strong organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working with phones, computers, and communication systems.
• Ability to assess and clearly communicate complex situations.
• Experience in administrative support, dispatch, or operations preferred.

Physical Requirements:  

• Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods.
• Ability to respond quickly to any incidents or emergencies.

Position Details:  

• Variable Hours: All positions are considered variable hour roles, with weekly hours subject to change based on operational needs.   
• Compensation: The hourly rates specified in this job posting apply exclusively to this position. St. Moritz may offer other assignments with different pay rates. All required training is compensated for at no less than the state minimum wage.

Qualifications:  

  High school diploma or GED require  

• Must be able to obtain a PERC license and 20 hour certification.
• Strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to address routine and moderately complex problems.
• Read, write, and speak English
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Computer skills (word, excel, outlook)<

Education Requirements (All)

HS Diploma
GED or H.S. Equivalent
