Lobby Officer Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Professional Demeanor. (In appearance, speech, and punctuality).
  2. Experience in Security Operation Systems.
  3. Customer Service Skills.
  4. Keen observer of surroundings and detailed accurate report writing.
  5. Detailed log work of site and customer service interactions.
  6. Security Camera Operations (Able to view surrounding with cameras and respond to situation.)
  7. First Aid / CPR Trained to respond to emergency situations.
  8. Self-driven and motivated to look for ways of improving security relations with team and site partners by daily interactions.
  9. Skilled in de-escalation communication while keeping a calm demeanor during potential confrontations of site turn aways.
  10. Has experience using Microsoft Office or Google Office (Word / Excel).
  11. Multi-tasking situations of verifications with team. (Being flexible to handle different authentication and verification of persons coming on site while communicating with team and upholding lobby post orders).
  12. Will meet First Coast Security requirements, but also meet additional site-specific requirements to work on site.
  13. Demonstrates site specific protocols for verification without deviations and will exercise excellent judgment of situations.
  14. Radio usage and proper radio etiquette.
  15. Will meet the requirements of being a site information specialist and knowledgeable of Meta policy while enforcing security protocols to team standards.

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree
Bachelors Degree

Certification Requirements (Any)

First Aid/CPR/AED

Requirements

  • All personnel assigned to the Meta location are required to possess one or more of the following:

- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Security Police,  Corrections,) or any support role in a garrison or deployed area of operations

- Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field

- Bachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related field

- A minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch with an honorable, medical, or general discharge

- Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

- 2 years verifiable data center security/customer service experience

- 3 years verifiable private/corporate security experience
