Job Description

P4 is seeking professional, dedicated, and customer-oriented Security Officers to join our team for a seasonal assignment. This role requires individuals who can maintain a secure environment while providing safe escort services for 75-100 people on an urban campus.  Key Responsibilities:

Secure Escort Services: Ensure the safe escort of individuals across the campus, prioritizing their safety and wellbeing.
Campus Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, maintaining visibility and deterring potential security incidents.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to campus members and visitors, answering questions and offering assistance when needed.
De-escalation: Apply strong communication and de-escalation skills to manage and diffuse tense situations calmly and professionally.
Incident Reporting: Observe and report any suspicious activity, security breaches, or emergencies promptly and accurately.
Campus Safety: Work collaboratively with the campus security team to implement and maintain safety protocols.

Qualifications:
 
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong customer service skills and professional appearance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Proven ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- Valid PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) or ability to obtain one
- De-escalation training or certification is a plus
