Job Skills / Requirements

This position works with a team of Employment Consultants (and other agency staff) to develop employment opportunities and to coordinate with local employers the hiring, training, and necessary ongoing support for individuals with disabilities to maintain community employment.  An Employment Consultant assists individuals with disabilities in developing positive relationships with co-workers and establishing supports outside of the human service system.  As part of a team, this position focuses on job development and job training for that team. Hours: 8:00 am -4:30 pm (Hours vary depending on the person served work schedule and needs)

Coverage Area Includes: Dubois County

Requirements

High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required) in rehabilitation, social work, special education, public relations, or closely related discipline. 

One year experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

Training will be provided.
