Job Skills / Requirements

The CPA will complete INWIC application certification procedure and documentation. Evaluate client's nutritional status and determine nutritional risk of participants. Provide nutrition education, implement nutrition education plans and provide counseling.

Must be a Registered Nurse or Dietitian. Experience in family services, public health or maternal infant nutrition and breastfeeding preferred.  Have a valid driver's license and have a properly insured vehicle. Communicate well, orally and in writing.  Be able to facilitate discussion with clients. Work independently.  Demonstrate flexibility. Practices professionally in a manner consistent with legal and ethical standards including WIC regulations.
