Job Skills / Requirements

Site Security Manager will serve as liaison between Priebe Security and the client.  Responsible for overall management of building safety and security program including security officer staffing and performance. Motivates and develops staff by providing leadership and necessary tools needed to perform their job duties. Site Security Manager supports property management team and ensures contract compliance, service quality, and customer satisfaction.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer and Priebe Security management team
  • Respond to client concerns, communicate instructions to officers, follow up on questions or special requests
  • Review daily reports for completeness, accuracy, and efficiency. Ensure that information gets relayed to customers in a timely manner. Respond to employee questions and requests
  • Responsible for scan points maintenance and regular review of discrepancy reports to ensure 100% checkpoint and tour completion for each post
  • Maintain procedure manuals/post orders for site and all positions, ensure emergency contacts and procedure accuracy
  • Communicate any procedural changes to employees through pass-downs and training
  • Provide direct supervision to security officers including performance management, coaching and mentoring utilizing SMART goals and progressive discipline
  • Collaborate with recruiting manager for candidate selection. Interview candidates, identify qualified back-up sources for filling in vacancies
  • Ensure completion of all training including initial job training and required certification compliance as well as monthly training topics and cross-training
  • Conduct regular team meetings/training
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness activities
  • Work with scheduling team to ensure adequate levels of trained workforce, manage officer schedule assignments and replacements for absences
  • Responsible for inventory and maintenance of equipment and work area assigned to security team. Inspect for cleanliness, coordinate service and repairs of inoperable or damaged equipment
  • Schedule regular security program performance review meetings with client and Priebe Security management team
  • Participate in budget planning, provide input and recommendations for greater efficiencies and overall service improvement
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of regular building systems inspections and audits
  • Perform various additional duties as directed by property management
  • Enforce company standards of conduct, policies and procedures

High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred

Minimum of 3 years of security/law enforcement or customer service experience

2 years of leadership/supervisory experience

Clean driving record

Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Must be able to meet all TX DPS Level I & II licensing requirements
