Job Skills / Requirements

Alliance Building Services is seeking a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing HR team. In this role, you will handle recruitment efforts.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand department goals, job requirements, and candidate profiles
  • Develop and execute targeted recruiting plans using job boards, networks, and industry-specific platforms
  • Source, screen, interview, and evaluate qualified candidates across various functions
  • Extend job offers within company guidelines
  • Maintain detailed recruitment activity reports, time-to-fill metrics, and candidate pipelines
  • Represent the company at job fairs, open houses, and community events
  • Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and vendors throughout the hiring process

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field OR equivalent professional experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (NYS/NYC Security Guard license compliance is a plus).
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), onboarding platforms, and HRIS systems
  • Strong organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel locally to attend recruiting events or support client site needs as required
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities


Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

Schedule: M-F 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
