Alliance Building Services is seeking a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing HR team. In this role, you will handle recruitment efforts.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand department goals, job requirements, and candidate profiles
- Develop and execute targeted recruiting plans using job boards, networks, and industry-specific platforms
- Source, screen, interview, and evaluate qualified candidates across various functions
- Extend job offers within company guidelines
- Maintain detailed recruitment activity reports, time-to-fill metrics, and candidate pipelines
- Represent the company at job fairs, open houses, and community events
- Serve as a key point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and vendors throughout the hiring process
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field OR equivalent professional experience
- 2–4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (NYS/NYC Security Guard license compliance is a plus).
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), onboarding platforms, and HRIS systems
- Strong organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to travel locally to attend recruiting events or support client site needs as required
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
Schedule: M-F 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
