Evening Multi-Site Cleaner- Supervisor in Training | Centerville Turnpike | Virginia Beach

Shift: Monday- Friday 3pm- 11pm or 4pm-12am

Pay Rate: $14.00 an hour

General Purpose:

Oversees the accurate and timely cleaning of commercial offices, buildings, and churches. The Zone Supervisor oversees nighttime operations as well as the custodial and floor tech staff in their territory. The Supervisor's role is to ensure all cleaning staff complete their assigned custodial duties meeting a high level of expectation, to ensure all building and company standards and policies are adhered to, and to serve as the liaison between the front-line cleaning staff and OnPoint Building Services management. You will need a clean background check, the ability to pass a drug screen and a clean driving record.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Serves as an example of professionalism in appearance and conduct to both employees and customers at all times.
• Builds positive relationships with managers, supervisors, building cleaning staff and customers.
• Coordinates with the Lead Night Supervisor and L&S and Floor Supervisor to ensure that all buildings are maintained at the highest level of cleaning.
• Coordinates and ensures coverage of all zone buildings each night.
• Meets and communicates weekly inspection schedules.
• Coaches and re-trains Team Cleaners as needed to maintain maximum building standards.
• Properly administers disciplinary paperwork when necessary. 
• Trains new employees in properly cleaning procedures and building Scope of Work.
• Ensures floors are maintained on schedule by floor technicians.
• Oversees and reports supply and equipment issues.
• Utilizes and becomes proficient with TEAM software/eHub on your telephone.
• Monitors and responds to Action Items on eHub.
• Attends regular Supervisor Meetings.
• Completes all other task assigned to you by OnPoint’s management staff.

Qualifications/Education/Work Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years previous supervisory or managerial experience in cleaning or janitorial industry required. 
• Must pass a criminal background check. 
• Must have a valid state driver license with a clean driving record. 
• Must have reliable transportation to job location. 
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
