BTI Security is seeking a Full-time Contract Manager contract located in Alabama - Statewide. This is designated as an Essential position. BTI Security seeks to hire a high caliber manager who demonstrates professionalism to provide supervision and oversight of the contract operations.  This position ensures that contracts meet legal requirements and align with company goals

Job Skills / Requirements

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of all contract financials to include training, personnel scheduling, and overtime mitigation.
  • Serves as the manager to all supervisors, staff, and liaison to the customer. This is a full-time position with minimum expectation of availability during core operation must be available within thirty (30) minutes by telephone or in-person to discuss deficiencies; after normal duty hours or on weekends and holidays, within two (2) hours.
  • Submit a weekly audit and reconciliation report of all credentials and certification for all officers assigned to their contract.
  • Assists in daily data entry in support of contract operations, primarily focused on payroll and compliance.
  • Responsible for providing timely and accurate operations reports daily, weekly, and monthly for to be used for operational and staffing management.
  • Managing resources and equipment assigned to a specific site to include but not limited to weapons, ammunition, vehicles, vehicle equipment, duty equipment, uniforms, and hardware.
  • Assist in coordinating the onboarding of all new hire personnel to include site interviews, on-the-job training, and personnel performance reviews.
  • Oversee all matters of training to include but not limited to on-the-job training and refresher courses.
  • Actively involved in reviewing and writing disciplinary action reports for all infractions that are stated by the BTI Employee Handbook.
  • Ensure that all assigned personnel follow the corporate policies and handbook.
  • Developing and implementing new and revised systems, process development and operating procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight of all contract compliance requirements in accordance with the contract Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Motivate and lead high performance work teams with a focus on developing and mentoring contract leadership.
  • Represent the company with clients and subcontractors as an active participant in business development and growth opportunities.
  • Receives instruction and guidance from the Director of Operations.
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time, with or without notice.
 Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of specialized experience which includes: project development and implantation from inspection to deployment; expertise in management and control of funds and resources using complete reporting mechanisms; and demonstrate capability in managing multi-task contracts or subcontracts of various types and complexity
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in any field of study or have substantial and verifiable experience law enforcement, military or business management experience, which demonstrates individual’s capacity to effectively manage a security force
  • Must be able to communicate ideas effectively to the company, to the other parties involved in the contract and to stake holders to keep everyone apprised of contract-related matters
  • Shall have overall responsibility for ensuring work force complies with contract requirements
  • Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend English, and be able to compose written reports in English
  • Effective critical thinking skills and ability to assimilate
  • Must have a customer service-driven mindset
  • US citizenship required
