PalAmerican Security has new opportunities for Couriers who have availability for 2 shifts a week. 

Our pay rates start at $14.75/ hr! ( $500 sign on bonus)

Shift Availability: Mon and Friday 13:00-21:00 

Courier duties are determined and directed by the campus security management plan in accordance with Environment of Care chapter 2.10 and Butler Hospital Security Management Plan.  Courier's general duties are:

 ·          Direct and assist patients, visitors and vendors as necessary.

·          Pick-up/Delivers, supplies, documents, packages, mail, containers, hospital items and other items to satellites, and other designated locations, per written/oral instructions of Client.

·          Provide Excellent Customer Service to Client and Client’s clientele.

·          Respond immediately to the supervisors' dispatch needs.

·          Must maintain a clean driving record and immediately report any/all traffic violations, on or off duty.  Also reporting all vehicular accidents.

·          Must inspect vehicles per trip log instructions, also, service vehicle driven, such as checking fluid levels and replenishing fuel.

·          Must be able to deliver and pick up immediately when required.

·          Familiar with all aspects of Courier assignments per written instruction.

·          Perform Security surveillance while visiting satellites or returning to the hospital.

·          Consistently return from errands, breaks, and meal periods promptly.

·          Consistently adhere to state and federal driving laws.

·          Regularly report to work as scheduled and routinely completes scheduled shift.

·          Present self well-groomed and in compliance with the dress policy.

·          Must report any medicinal treatment, which could impose on safe driving ability.

·          Observe hospital policies and follows department procedures that govern conduct and performance while on duty.

·          Uses interpersonal skill with individuals, groups, patients, and/or families to achieve satisfactory/acceptable outcomes.

·          Attend all scheduled work-related meetings, departmental training classes, etc.

·          Must be willing to accept the on-call rotation as the cycle comes up

·          Must be willing to accept overtime and work overtime if needed

·          Perform all other duties as required by the Hospital Client, PalAmerican Security and the Transportation Manager
