This is a driving position where a valid driver's license and a clean driving record will be required. 

Pay rate: $23.10 per hour

Average hours per week: 40

Shifts are generally 8 to 12 hours long

Shift availablity:

• Full time, Saturday through Wednesday, 3rd shift (overnight)
• Full time, Friday through Monday, 3rd shift (overnights)

You will be a great fit if you

• Are at least 21 years of age
• Are able to provide proof of education (High School diploma, GED, or Higher education transcripts)
• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Have a minimum of 1 year Security experience 
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Office, Outlook, Excel, Teams etc.)
• Are proficient with multiline phone systems
• Are proficent with hand-held radios and radio communications
• Possess a valid Washington State Security License or be willing to obtain one. 2024 SGL costs are $31.05 for fingerprints and $101.00 for the License application.) There is also an unpaid mandatory State SGL class that you will be required to complete.
• Have effective verbal and written communication skills

What you will do

• Ensure the continual safety and security of site staff and visitors
• Maintain a physical presence, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activity to include but not limited to interacting with transients, deter from setting up shelters, panhandling, and sleeping.
• Provide an empathetic approach to managing any escalated persons and situations
• Write detailed and accurate reports outlining any incidents that occur at your location
• Positively contribute to the overall experience and atmosphere by providing superior customer care to anyone you interact with
• Complete patrols on foot or while driving a company vehicle, checking the interior & exterior of the buildings (extensive walking, climbing stairs and standing)
• Monitor CCTV cameras 
• Answer the phone in a polite, professional manner 
• Communicating with a handheld radio
• Access control (monitor entrances and exits, ensure all staff have access badges and visitors have escorts.)
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
