Shift Supervisor / Armed Security Responder
Prior Military, Law Enforcement and / or First Responders preferred.
Retirees Welcome!
2nd Shift(3pm-11pm) Monday-Friday
On the job training will be conducted on 1st Shift.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to obtain an Armed Security Officer license through SLED.
- Must be able to qualify with OC Spray and Firearm.
- This is a driving post (must have a good MVR and a Valid Driver's License).
- Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), if needed.
- Must have basic computer experience, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.?
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to write reports.
- Must be able to maintain schedule and fill open posts as needed.
- Must be able to manage a team and possess strong leadership skills.
- Must be able to work independently and perform daily tasks as assigned.
- Ability to train, coach and issue discipline as required.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting and addressing the concerns of visitors and employees.
- The ability to remain calm and de-escalate situations.
- Be able to effectively solve problems independently during critical situations.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
- Able to delegate tasks to team members.
- Conduct regular walking patrols to improve the safety of individuals and proactively identify and report on security concerns.
- Monitor facility access points, employing verification procedures to authenticate the identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting premises, in support of a secure environment.
- Maintain precise and detailed logs documenting activities, incidents, and notable observations, facilitating comprehensive reporting and analysis for enhanced security measures.
- Enforce security procedures in the relevant Security Post Instruction.
- Execute routine tasks with proficiency, such as securely locking and unlocking doors, activating, and deactivating security systems, and diligently monitoring surveillance feeds for signs of potential threats or breaches.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents, utilizing appropriate actions and established protocols.
- Always look professional in a clean and pressed uniform.?
- Informs and ensures compliance with SEI and Clients policies, such as smoking, loitering, parking violations, etc.?
These duties are not all inclusive and subject to change as directed by SEI Leadership.
Preferred Experience Qualifications:
- Experience in a specific field i.e., Investigator, Special Response Team, Accident Reconstruction
- HAZMAT AO/HAZWOPER
- Knowledge of LENEL access control systems.
- Secondary education i.e., college degree, police schools
- Conflict resolution/de-escalation, verbal judo, etc.
- Active shooter
- FEMA Incident Courses (IS 100 and IS 200 series)
- FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) Courses
- (IS 700 and IS 800 series).
Education Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically able to respond to any incident on-site within a set time frame, and to climb stairs.
