Job Skills / Requirements

Primary roles of this position:

The Security officer will be responsible for doing perimeter rounds once an hour. Providing great customer service, being outside as a visual deterrent while opening door and greating customers. Making sure that the client rules are followed. This is a traving postion between two locations. 

*Indiana Carry Permit or state equivalant (will share between Southwest Indianapolis areas)

•Complete required Armed security training and pass a comprehensive written exam.
•Be at least 21 years of age.
• Conduct internal and external patrols throughout the facility.
• Deter, detect, report and record any criminal or unauthorized activity on client property.
• Report safety and security incidents that they become aware of during their tour of duty.
• Prevent loss to client property from fire or equipment failure.
• Control access to client property.
• Enforce the rules and regulation set forth by the client.• Ability to read and write at a professional level
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems

•Complete required Armed security training and pass a comprehensive written exam.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm

Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Saturday 9:00am-1:00pm

$17/hour

Education Requirements (Any)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Pistol Permit
