Security Engineers is actively seeking candidates for Armed Security Officer positions. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain a pistol permit and Alabama Security Regulatory Board armed security officer license.

High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications for employment with Security Engineers:
•Be at least 21 years of age.
•Be a U.S. citizen.
•Have no felony convictions or misdemeanors involving moral turpitude (verified by a fingerprint based criminal background check).
•Be able to obtain a pistol permit and ASRB security license.
•Be of good moral character and be able to provide character references
•Be in generally good health and physically able to perform the duties assigned.
•Have a telephone or other reliable means of communication.
•Have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
•Have a high school education or suitable equivalent.
•Be literate in the English language and be able to read and understand written orders and instructions.
•Attend SEI provided training and pass a written exam.
The above requirements are the minimum necessary to be considered for employment with Security Engineers. However, certain job sites have additional requirements which will be discussed during the interview process.
To qualify for Armed positions, candidates must attend and pass basic firearms safety training and 'live-fire' range qualification which is provided at no charge by Security Engineers Certified Trainer.
Pistol permit is preferred for the interview and is required before training can be scheduled. Candidates can interview and express interest for armed positions without a pistol permit - but will be required to obtain a pistol permit before armed positions can be assigned.
