PDS Optical is a SDVOSB Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that manufactures a very large number of eyeglasses each day.   We have Optical Laboratories in Louisville, KY and Fort Lauderdale, FL and manage many optical stores across the US and Puerto Rico. Are you an experienced Optician seeking part-time employment? Do you have a knack for adventure and enjoy meeting new people? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking an experienced Optician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves traveling to various locations within the Wichita and surrounding areas to fill in for other opticians during vacations or leaves. Travel may require overnight stays or day-to-day commuting, with all travel expenses covered or reimbursed by the company.

This position offers a very flexible schedule, making it ideal for someone looking to make extra income while maintaining their skills. The pay range for this role is competitive, ranging from $19 to $22 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Optician
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours
• Ability to adapt to different work environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
