Looking for a part-time job that actually fits your schedule? Whether you want a few evenings a week, a later start time, or steady weekday hours, ESS Clean has several openings in Effingham, IL! We're hiring dependable, detail-oriented people to help keep local businesses clean and looking their best. No professional cleaning experience? No problem! We'll train you.

Available Positions & Schedules

We have five openings with different schedules and weekly hours:

Option 1: Three Evenings a Week

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday
• 3.5 hours per shift, starting after 5:00 PM
• 10.5 hours per week
• Active position with lots of stair sweeping and mopping

Option 2: Three Days, 15 Hours

• Monday: 4 hours
• Wednesday: 4 hours
• Friday: 7 hours
• 15 hours per week
• Four days off each week!

Option 3: Later Evening Hours

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday
• 3.5 hours per shift, starting after 7:00 PM
• 10.5 hours per week
• Great for someone who needs a later start time

Option 4: Consistent Weekday Hours

• Monday through Friday
• 4 hours per shift
• 20 hours per week
• A steady part-time schedule without a full-time commitment

Option 5: Short Weekday Shifts

• Monday through Friday
• 2.25 hours per shift
• 11.25 hours per week
• Detail-focused position in a facility with high cleaning standards

What You'll Do

Specific duties vary between each client site, but a typical shift includes tasks like:

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
• Emptying trash and replacing liners
• Dusting and wiping surfaces
• Cleaning common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces
• Following cleaning procedures to maintain a consistently high standard of service

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of experience or a fancy resume. We're looking for people who:

• Show up on time and consistently work their scheduled shifts
• Take pride in doing a job well
• Can work independently and follow instructions
• Pay attention to details
• Are comfortable with the physical demands of commercial cleaning, which may include standing, walking, bending, lifting, and using stairs depending on the location
